This Privacy Policy explains how AuraMail (“AuraMail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the AuraMail desktop application.

AuraMail is designed as a local-first application. We do not operate a centralized service that collects, stores, or processes the contents of your mailbox, and we do not sell, rent, or disclose personal information for advertising or other commercial purposes.

Email messages, attachments, folders, drafts, preferences, and associated metadata are stored locally on your device; account credentials and OAuth tokens are stored in your operating system’s protected credential store. Authentication with third-party email providers occurs directly between you and the applicable provider.

If you enable Aura AI, the content necessary to fulfill your request is transmitted to the third-party AI provider you configure, and that provider’s terms and privacy policy govern its processing.

AuraMail does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking technologies. Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the application’s data.

Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies, and you should review them before use.
